Licensing details

Box Shot 3D is licensed per user. That means, that you may install it to your home computer and your notebook using the same single license. If you want your friend to use the software on the same computer, he needs to purchase his own license.

If you want to use Box Shot 3D on server (to perform batch rendering for example), you need to purchase separate license for each server.

Upgrade from version 2.XX

Although there is a discount for existing customers, there is no specific “upgrade” link. Upgrade is performed by installing the third version on top of the registered second version. So make sure that you have installed and registered version 2.XX, check that the email and serial number are entered without mistakes. Now exit Box Shot 3D, download, install and run the third version. At the first run Box Shot 3D asks for upgrade. Follow the wizard and you will see the page that either shows your new serial number (if you purchased in 2010) or allows to purchase the upgrade with discount.

If you don’t see the discount, please check that the serial number and e-mail are exactly the same that were sent to you. Otherwise you will not be recognized as a registered customer and therefore not entitled to a free upgrade or a discount.
