Will, please go to the downloads section and depending on your platform download the latest 2.XX version of Box Shot 3D. The links are at the bottom. Install it and make sure it is registered and works fine.

Then download the latest version of Box Shot 3D using the buttons at the right. Install it on top of the second version and run. At the first run you will see the upgrade window.

I did it. And it still doesn’t seem to work.

Once I installed the new version, it shows a message windows alerting me that my serial is obsolete (bingo!).

Once I click on OK I’m directed to a URL similar to the next one:
http://www.boxshot3d.com/order/upgrade/?email=MYEMAIL&serial=MYSERIAL

It tells me that I’m not entitled to a free upgrade and offers me a link to a paid one.

One I click here, it takes to Plimus (bingo!) but it shows the full version at $80, not an upgrade (contractId=1652181).

What should I do? It seems that I lost the change to get the upgrade at $30.

Will, you use the incorrect e-mail (the gmail one) while trying to upgrade. However, according to the database, you used another one to purchase a license. You need to either change e-mail in the registration window of the second version, or adjust the URL you mentioned above.

You see the discount as soon as you provide a correct pair of e-mail and serial number to the upgrade page.

Sorry for the mess. Being a long time user, I forgot which email I used to register.

Any way to get a discount coupon? I wouldn’t mind to pay the extra $10… but wouldn’t mine either to save them!

Can anyone recommend a good metal texture for the edge of the iphone and the ipad? I’ve tried a few but they all look very fake…

Are you able to add multiple images to a “stack of books” – so show one cover on the front book and three different spine images? Or if you have the book on top of the stack of books – then you could show two different cover images?
