Stacked ImagesAugust 5th, 2010A single image is good, but a stack is better First of all, the simple stack. Exactly as the bucks image shown few posts ago.
as you may see, stacks can be disordered and twisted to make them look more realistic. Click the bucks image below to see the full version: The next type of stacks is “Stack + 1″. This one is good for business cards. Here’s how it looks like:
Box Shot 3D allows to move the “+1″ image from the stack and back and it is automatically “leaned” to the stack. Finally, the last type of stacks is “Fan”. Can be used quite well for stationery rendering. Here are some images:

Both stacked and single images have other new features, but that’s all for now. I am going to release the third version of Box Shot 3D in August, all the major things are done and now I am polishing the last pieces of code. Stay tuned and follow us on Twitter. Once again, this upgrade is major and will cost you $30 unless you purchased your license in 2010. In that case the upgrade will be free for you. So, if you are going to buy right now, there is no reason to wait for the third version – you may purchase 2.13.3 and use it until the third version has come and then upgrade for free. Take care.
