Box Shot 3D 2.13

Yes, it has been finally released! What’s new:

Some boxes can be opened
Book stacks can be customized in various ways
Hard cover books can have dust jacket
Height and specular maps added to materials
Improved shadows and reflections of transparent objects
Mac version can be controlled using Apple Script

Most of features were already discussed here, so go and grab your copy of 2.13. I believe that it has no bugs, but it can, so feel free to report if you find something.

	Thanks, this new version and cool new features looks great! Bug: At “Stack of Books” shape, “Soft Cover Book with Rounded Corners” can NOT be selected for “Book on Top” option. (Win: 2.13)

	Hi Vitaly, Thanks for the update! I ‘m currently looking into it and found this problem thus far (mac version): I can select “Box with curved top” and “box with hard edges”, but I don’t see a box, nor can I select an image. As a sidenote I must admit that I found it easier to see the images right in the window instead of using this dialog box; but I suppose I will get used to the new workflow.

	bjorn, thanks, see it. I’ll release a fixed version tomorrow, if nothing new will be found. 13 is a bad number after all Starting from 2.13 you can assign several images to the side and there is no space to show them all. That’s why I used new controls. Actually, Windows users never saw previews at all

	which boxes can be opened?.. i could not find any.. also – dust jacket – how-to would be nice cheers

	Will, it looks great! tk, the boxes will appear today in version 2.13.1. As regards to dust jacket: do you have any problems with them? Just select “Book” shape, and then “Hard cover book with dust jacket” type. And just assign jacket image to “Jacket XXX” sides. That’s all, exactly as with front/side/back sides of book.
