The First “Big Thing” Is Done

June 1st, 2008

As you may see, design of www.boxshot3d.com was changed a bit. Or even a byte. Previous design was made about two years ago. Now we say him “thanks” and “good bye” and meet the new one.

The rainbow that first appeared on default cover images, now moved to site and added some color here.

Among color, new site has gallery where you may see examples of what Box Shot 3D can. I think it will be nice to receive your images to put them there (e-mail is here).

Next that was added is answers to common questions. Affiliates, licensing and upgrade questions are now answered here. List will grow.

New site was tested under popular platforms and browsers. Texts were checked using magnifying glass, but I bet that some problems are still there. So if you see glitches or mistakes - please kick me using the new contacts form. I’ll say “thank you” ;)

Hi

New site is ok, but the <table width=”100%”
is a litlebit annoying, fixed size is better.
i have resolutions 1600×1200, its not very good:P to view the site, left side to right side. Site looks great when reso. is 1024×768:)

regards

rene

Well… I liked the minimalist style of the former design… :) However, as far as you keep improving BS3D, any style it’s ok 8D

Hi there.
Congratulation on your new site.
I am a client and I have to report a bug in your 2.9 software.
I would like to prepare and render a CD box with a clear jewel case. When I select the CD box and I now include one image at “Box Body” the very left part of the image should be visible through the jewel case (when you look to the frontcover a part should be visible left from the frontcover through the box) and the rest of the image (90%) as well as the COMPLETE imnage should be visible when you oben the case, behind the CD disc. But instead of this the uploaded image is displayed 2 times in the same image, one part is rotated 180% (the part behind the CD), and the part left from the frontcover displays the complete image as well instead of just 10% of it and with wrong sizes (width resuced). Difficult to explain, but simply try and you will see what happen. Any fix for that problem?

Hi, I’ve just visited your site for the first time in about 7 months. I saw that you had an updated version of the software and just downloaded it. I love it!

Nice improvements with the special reports and membership cards added. My previous version didn’t have that.

The site looks great, too. Hope you guys are doing well and keep up the good work. I’ll be back in another 6-12 months to see what’s new.

Take care,

Jim G.
